1. Occasional -If in the act of getting hurt, get away from the hurtful situation. Whatever wound was received and unavoided, suffer with Jesus (and He suffered meekly) while asking God to heal. After infliction, to handle the anger that wells up inside, THINK OF OTHERS’ GOOD - to be led to pray for the other, to correct fraternally if necessary, and to be drawn away from harboring anger. “Whoever is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment.” (Matt 5:22)
2. Long-term - The thorn at your side should first be recognized so you can accept it as a part of your cross. Then carry it.
