Bakit tayo may mga santong pinahahalagahan?

Dahil tinuruan sila ng Diyos sa espesyal na paraan, at natuto sila sa pamamagitan ng paghihirap. Binibigyang-lugod sila ng Diyos hanggang ngayon sa pamamagitan ng kanilang pagbibigay halimbawa at panalangin para sa mga tao.

Bakit espesyal ang ating pagpaparangal sa Mahal na Birheng Maria?

Dahil hindi lamang siya ang naging Ina ng Diyos, kundi siya ang babaeng higit sa lahat ay itinabi ang Salita ng Diyos sa kanyang puso. Ninais ng Diyos na ang lahat ng Kanyang Grasya ay magdaan sa mga kamay ng Kanyang Ina. - At gusto ng Diyos na tayo ay magkaroon ng Inang gaya ng Kanya!

Occasions

Every inconvenience or annoyance (e.g. interruptions while busy, being overlooked or forgotten, inconsiderate people) is an opportunity for growth in virtue - like patience, understanding, and charity - when used as mortification and sacrifice.

Laging gising

Kahit  na minsan tahimik Siya, o tila nagtatago, hindi kailanman natutulog ang Diyos... Ang Diyos kailanman ay hindi natutulog.

On Patience and Original Beauty

It seems that no matter how rational I try to be when I am roused, my plan of action is almost always, if not already, different from when I am already calm. The “better way” comes only in the latter.

As I looked on a slide show of nature shots (animals, plants), I was marvelling at the beauty contained therein. It suddenly struck me why God allows more people to be born when they only hurt Him and very few actually strive to love Him. I realized it was because He originally created them beautiful, and if after all the pains and hurts, this beauty can be unearthed, then it was all worthwhile.
